Our approaches to work

A word from the founder Khrystyna Stetska:

I noticed the following “thing”: you read about HR and there are so many English terms and abbreviations that I, as a consultant, need to explain the meaning for a long time, for example, what is an EVP, to founders/CEOs of SME startups. Also, when I tell in professional HR terms what exactly I, as HR, will do and how I will “benefit the business” and why, I want a decent hourly payment for it, then you need to repeat the same thing in very simple, understandable language. Therefore, in order not to waste energy and time, I decently “degraded” during sales – I immediately get down to business and as simply as I can, I issue an hr-speech of 5-10 sentences according to the plan.

  • What goals will the business achieve;
  • What threats will be avoided;
  • How much will it cost and why;
  • How much will it bring/save in money;

In conclusion, I must tell a couple of horror stories from practice, what happened when there was no correct MVP, HRBP, TTC, CIPD, CPC and other magical mantras in Latin.

A good HR is an immediate victory in the north, south and east: good reputation, higher income, effectively used time.

What else did I encounter in practice — total distrust of HR. This is a function that entrepreneurs perceive as more decorative and appears in the company using the LIFO (Last In, First Out) method. That is, it is the last thing that is invested in, because the CEO is no longer able to do it himself and it is the first thing that is cut if there is not enough finance. And in vain… Because I will repeat once again: good HR is the reputation, money and time, and in general, it is a big plus in karma! There are two key words in the previous sentence – “HR” and “good”. Can you guess what I’m getting at?

Good HR is about what the business wants, and the business is about people!
